This is the world of Gorghi Tondi estate, an unspoiled area where you can admire an extreme, beautiful, and evocative Sicily, without forgetting its fruits. Halfway between the sea and the integral nature reserve, the winery is located in a traditional “baglio” (a typical Sicilian farmstead), in complete harmony with the vineyards and the surrounding natural context, a few steps away from the nests of the hawks, the turtles, the wild orchids and the colors of the Mediterranean maquis.


Coste a Preola Grillo is the symbolic wine of the strong bond between us and the naturalistic oasis.

Grapes: Grillo 100%, ABV 12% vol.

Tasting notes: bright yellow with greenish reflections. On the nose, it is elegant, and intense, with strong and complex varietal notes, in which notes of passion fruit, mint, pineapple, and white peach can be recognized. On the palate it has an excellent balance, it is full, rich, and fragrant with lively acidity and good persistence.

Pairings: particularly suitable with raw fish and shellfish starters. Excellent with fish soups, baked fish, and tasty vegetable mbales. Serve at 46-50 °F


This pure rosé best represents the natural elements that surround the estate, made of sea and wind. It combines the fragrant notes of the Mediterranean scrub, the flavor of the sea breeze, and the colors of the sunsets on the beach.

Grapes: Nerello Mascalese 100%, ABV 12% vol.

Tasting notes: bright rosé. On the nose, it combines the fragrant floral notes of violet, the flavor of the sea breeze, and red fruits. On the palate, it is dry, harmonious, pleasant, and pleasantly spicy.

Pairings: to pair with shellfish, grilled white fish, so cheeses, sushi, and Asian cuisine. Serve at 46-50 °F


The scents of Nero d’Avola are an emblem of the beauty of a unique territory, dedicated for thousands of years to quality viculture.

Grapes: Nero d’Avola 100%, ABV 14% vol.

Tasting notes: brilliant ruby red color with violet reflections. Good complexity on the nose, with a pleasantly spicy impact, with hints of black cherry and small berries. Rich, intense, so on the palate, rightly tannic, with excellent persistence.

Pairings: excellent to accompany grilled red meat, game, truffle dishes, spicy and mature cheeses. Serve at 60-64 °F


For the first me, one of the most famous varieties of eastern Sicily, Frappato, enters the Gorghi Tondi collection with an intense and fresh red, to drink with cheerful and carefree company, in search of moments of pure serenity and pleasantness. To drink even slightly cold!

Grapes: Frappato 100%, ABV 13% vol.

Tasting notes: light ruby red color with violet reflections. Intense, with fruity notes of blackberry, raspberry, and pomegranate, quite complex and fragrant. On the palate, it is fresh, with a good structure, on the palate it is velvety and persuasive.

Pairings: capable of enhancing the notes of eggplant parmigiana, pesto lasagna, or blue fish. Serve at 54-57°F
