Kramer Vineyards Pinot Grigio Estate ~ 2022

Kramer Vineyards began over four decades ago when our family planted roots in the northern Willamette Valley. The block from which this wine is made is in an elevated vineyard on the estate. It is a one-acre parcel of vines planted in 1986, perched at an elevation of 800 feet. It is the pinnacle of our terroir. This wine was fermented and aged in stainless-steel tanks with aging on fine lees.
Appellation: Yamhill-Carlton, Willamette Valley, Oregon
Grapes:
100% Pinot Grigio – ABV 13.5%
Tasting notes: Shimmering pale straw in the glass. Aromas of Meyer lemon, green pear, and white peach rise from the glass with a hint of honeysuckle. On the palate, vibrant acidity frames layers of citrus zest, orchard fruit, and wet stone. Crisp and linear, with a refreshing, dry finish and lingering minerality.
Pairing: Pairs beautifully with scallops, shrimp, and citrus-dressed greens.

La Espera el Valor del Tiempo Torrontés ~ 2022

Back in 2003, Kurt Heinlein decided to travel to Mendoza in search of a vineyard to fulfill an old dream: to establish a family winery business that pays homage to his ancestors (FUNCKE family), thus creating a legacy for future generations. Located in San Rafael at 850 meters above sea level, guarded by the Christ who welcomes visitors to the city and blessed on one of its sides by the Diamante River, was the property of his dreams. It is one of the highest planted properties in the southern oasis of Mendoza. We benefit from a comparatively cooler climate than the rest of the department, which is reflected in the profile of our wines.

Tasting notes: Bright greenish yellow color. On the nose, white flowers and citrus notes, typical of this varietal, are perceived. On the mouth, it is perceived with a soft entrance, mid to low body, and a refreshing finish due to great acidity, which also helps to turn this varietal more gastronomic.

Beaujolais Villages La Rizolière ~ 2023

The family estate started in 1910. For more than 25 years, Didier and Marieke have formed a great French-Dutch duo in charge of the vineyards. La Rizoliere vineyards are located on the best hillsides of the Beaujolais Villages Appellation, in the village of Vauxrenard. The vineyard is managed using sustainable pest control methods, and everything is done to stimulate the natural defenses of the vines. Beaujolais is located at the southern tip of Burgundy and provides ideal conditions for growing wine.

100% Gamay – ABV 12.5%
Tasting notes: Inviting, clear ruby red. With a note of mixed red fruits (strawberry, raspberry, and gooseberry). The taste is fresh and gourmet..
Pairing: Cold buffets, salads, red and white meats, pork and poultry terrines, hot sausage, roasted chicken, stuffed turkey, lamb, ham, barbecue, grilled T-bone, cheese.

LE SENTIER Pinot Noir

Founded in 1995, Calmel & Joseph is, above all, a very human endeavor that sprang from passion and the meeting of minds. After having toured the world, we decided to settle at the end of the ‘Chemin de la Madone’ in the most westerly estate. We make, blend, and age our wines with a fierce determination to show the extraordinary identity of this Mediterranean region. The vineyard sits at 250 metres altitude and benefits from important thermal amplitude (the difference in temperature between day and night), which is perfect for the good development and typicity of Pinot Noir.
Appellation: IGP Pays d’Oc, France
Grapes: 100% Pinot Noir – ABV 12.5%
Tasting notes: A lovely purple cherry coloured wine with a nose of redcurrant, black and red cherry, and blackcurrant, finishing with good tension on notes of cinnamon and coffee beans. Supremely fresh in the mouth, as always, without exuberance, with silky, harmonious tannins. Opening with summer fruit such as black fig, pomegranate, and juicy wild cherry, it evolves to spicy white pepper, curry, and smoky vanilla notes.
