Villa iLangi Vermentino ~ 2024

Fresh aromas of ripe citrus, white peach, and wildflowers, complemented by subtle saline notes typical of Tuscan Vermentino. On the palate, it shows lively acidity, a light-to-medium body, and a smooth, flowing texture. The finish is elegant and clean, with lingering hints of lime and Mediterranean herbs.
Appellation: Tuscany, Italy
Grapes: Vermentino 100% – ABV 13%
Tasting notes: The nose reveals bright notes of citrus, green apple, and white flowers, followed by a pleasant mineral touch. The palate is fresh and harmonious, offering vibrant acidity and a natural balance between fruit and salinity. The finish is refined, slightly citrusy, and leaves a persistent, delicately coastal impression.
Pairings: Excellent with fish carpaccio, shellfish, seafood risotto, delicate white meats, and grilled vegetables. It also pairs beautifully with fresh Mediterranean dishes such as salads, caprese, and pesto pasta. Serve in a generous white-wine glass at 46–50°F (8–10°C) to enhance its aromatic freshness.

Cabas Bianco ~ 2019

Founded by Paolo Petrucco and his wife Lina Zoffi, the winery is in the southern part of Friuli Colli Orientali DOC in the small town of Buttrio in Monte. They have 35 hectares of land, of which 20 are planted with vines. The winery follows modern practices while being respectful of tradition.
Appellation: Friuli Colli Orientali, Italy
Grapes:  Malvasia 30%, Chardonnay 30%, Sauv. Blanc 30%, Friulano 10% – ABV 13.5%
Tasting notes: Straw yellow color with greenish reflections. Delicate aromas of ripe peach, apricot, and flowers. The palate is dry and medium bodied with a long mineral finish.
Pairing: Serve with white meat bolognese, grilled fish, white meat main courses, and medium-aged cheese.

Petro Vaselo Melgis ~ 2020

Petro Vaselo is a property that spans 172 hectares, out of which 42 hectares are dedicated to vineyards. The hills on the property are arranged like an amphitheater, which creates an ideal microclimate for the vines to grow. The primary objective is to obtain high-quality grapes while being mindful of the environment. For instance, no herbicides are used on the property. Instead, herbs are planted throughout the vineyards to control weeds and nourish the soil.
Appellation: Recas, Romania
Grapes: Feteasca Neagra 100% – ABV 15%
Aging: 9 months in oak
Tasting notes: This wine is an intense ruby red color. The nose opens on preponderant notes of dark spices but is then enriched by intense notes of ripe berries, such as raspberries and blackberries. It is then followed by important tertiary references of cocoa, leather, and licorice. Consistent and round, with tannic texture and long persistence, this is quite a mystical experience of primordial flavors.
Pairing: Pair with red meats such as brisket or duck.

Rieppi Schioppettino, Ronco Margherita ~ 2019

At Ronco Margherita, the Barricaia is a renovated cellar that utilizes the Col Colàt aquifer to maintain a cool and humid environment year-round. Alessandro designed this space to reflect the local culture, drawing inspiration from the nearby hills and the Tagliamento River. This unique setting enhances the maturation of the wines, enriching their aromas and flavors. The Ronco Margherita estate boasts vineyards in three distinct areas of Friuli Venezia Giulia, each contributing unique qualities to the wines while showcasing the region’s traditions. In 2020, the estate received organic certification for its farming and winemaking practices, employing eco-friendly methods such as organic fertilization and integrated pest management.

Schioppettino 100% – ABV 14%
Tasting notes: Opens with elegant and pronounced aromas, reminiscent of dried figs, accompanied by balsamic notes, wood and a subtle hint of black berry fruits. On the palate, it is broad and assertive, enveloping and velvety.
Pairing: Serve with roasted red meats and rich cheeses. Serve at 60-65℉.
