This Verdicchio is a white Italian wine grape variety grown in the Marche region of central Italy. The name Verdicchio derives from verde (or “green”) and refers to the slight green/yellow hue that wines made from the grape can have.

Tasting notes: Deep color, intense ruby red. Aromas of cherries and Marasca cherries with elegant balsamic and spicy notes. Full and enveloping flavor, with the charming elegance on the palate that is typical of “thoroughbred” Sangiovese.
