First Creek Semillon ~ 2015

First Creek Wines founders Greg and Jenny Silkman purchased a parcel of land bordered by First Creek in the Hunter Valley in 1998. Taking its name from an important water course that borders the property where the cellar door lies today, First Creek supplies high-quality fresh water to many of the most significant vineyard sites in the Hunter Valley. Wine experts agree the Hunter Valley is one of the world’s best Semillon regions. The climate and grape variety combine to produce a wine that is delicately flavored, bright, and crisp in its youth but with careful cellaring, develops into a richly layered and complex wine.
Grapes: 100% Sémillon – ABV 11.0%
Tasting notes: Crisp, fresh lemon and lime aromas. A palate to match, complimented with long grapefruit acidity.

Corryton Burge Chardonnay ~ 2023

The Corryton Burge legacy stretches back six generations to the early settlers of the region, John and Eliza Burge, who arrived from England in 1855. Our family has dedicated itself to crafting exceptional wines that have become synonymous with excellence in the Australian wine industry. Each generation has lovingly passed down the heart and soul of our craft. We do more than make great wine, we put our heart and soul into it.

Tasting notes: A delightful, subtly oaked South Australian Chardonnay that’s lively and pleasingly rounded. If you have a soft spot for Aussie Chardonnay with just the right amount, but not too much, creamy oak then this is just the sort of thing you’ll want to try. It has that classical Barossa charm, elegance, poise, and moreish quality that makes you wonder why this sort of thing ever went out of fashion.
