Valtenesi Chiaretto DOC ~ 2022 [Organic]

This wine is released on Valentine’s Day by La Meridiana, a winery that has been operating in the world of oil and wine for several generations but has always been family-run. Today the reins are in the hands of cousins ​​Fabio and Roberto who have brought a breath of youth and euphoria to the team. The production is always supervised by their parents Augusto and Fulvio who can boast over half a century of experience.
Appellation: Riviera del Garda, Italy

Grapes: Groppello – Barbera – Sangiovese

Tasting notes: A pale pink color that recalls roses and elegance, an explosion of red fruits on the nose, pleasant and harmonious on the palate, with a wonderful minerality that recalls its drinkability. Pairings: Perfect as an aperitif and to refresh any moment of the day! It pairs wonderfully with appetizers and finger food. Domaine Respelido Tavel Rosé ~ 2021

The wine comes from an ancient Tavel property bought by one of the family founders of Les Vignerons du Castelas in early 2000. It was wholly replanted in 2015. Respelido gets 18 hours of skin contact before it’s fermented in stainless steel resulting in a much darker coral colour than its Provençal cousins.
Appellation: Southern Rhone, Rhone Valley, France

Grapes: 60% Grenache, 40% Syrah
Tasting notes: Beautiful deep pink with bluish reflections. A rich and intense nose with notes of small red fruits: strawberries, cherries, and blackcurrant. Very fresh and round in the mouth. Beautiful length, finesse, and freshness on the finish.
Pairings: With bouillabaisse, eggplant caviar, beef carpaccio, Osso Bucco

Sangiovese Umbria PGI ~ 2022

The Vetunna winery is located at the gates of Bettona, ready to welcome the visitor who is preparing for a walk towards the city center, curious to look out from the Etruscan balcony for a spectacular view of the Umbrian valleys or to greet those who leave, inebriated by the taste, flavor, and colors of the surrounding nature. Vetunna could be the original Etruscan name of the city. That is, people we like to imagine as farmers passionate about the land, enraptured by wine during convivial moments, in all respects similar to today’s Umbrian families.

Tasting notes: Exhibits intense red with garnet reflections. Vinous and finely herbaceous. The taste is full and persistent.
Pairings: It is paired well with pasta with meat sauce, roast lamb, roast pork and wild boar stew, cured meats, and mature hard cheeses.
