Color: Straw yellow with greenish reflections

Perfume and Taste: Fruity and floral aromas with notes of jasmine and peach blossom. Savory and mineral, in the mouth it is fresh and with good acidity, with a pleasant and persistent closure

Food Pairings: Seafood appetizers, seafood, shellfish, grilled fish

Color: Ruby red color with garnet hues

Perfume and Taste: Subtle bouquet with hints of sour black cherry, wild berries and violet accompanied by vanilla’s nuances. On the palate, it’s round and full of body, with a persistent and slightly tannic aftertaste

Food Pairings: Savory pastas, grilled or roasted meats, game

Achille IGT Toscana Rosso ~ 2021

Dedicated to Achille Sergardi, who devoted his life and energy to the Republic of Siena at the end of the 1400s.

GRAPE VARIETIES: Sangiovese, Merlot

ALTITUDE: About 300 m.a.s.l.

SOIL: Roccia della Montagnola and Alberese (marly limestone)

VINES AGE: 10-15 years

TRAINING SYSTEM: Spur cordon and Guyot

VINIFICATION: In stainless steel tanks at 28° C

AGEING: In stainless steel tanks. In certain years it can undergo a short passage in barrel

Tasting notes: Intense ruby red color. An intense and fruity bouquet. More evident are the accents of mature red fruit, cherries and blackberries. Achille is very round, sweet and soft in the mouth which makes it so delicious and easy to drink. The finish is characterized by a persistent flavor, a very inviting wine.

Serving suggestions: White and red meat (both roasted or salted), game, cheeses and traditional Mediterranean first courses.

Capanna Winery Montalcino

Rosso Di Montalcino ~ 2020

Type: DOC

Blend: 100% Sangiovese.

Vinification: Alcoholic fermentation with maceration of the skins (18-20 days) at a controlled temperature and spontaneous malolactic fermentation in truncated cone-shaped Slavonian oak casks.

Aging: In Slavonian oak casks of 20 to 32 hl for 6-10 months; followed by aging in bottles for at least 3-4 months.

On sale from 15-18 months from the harvest.

Notes:

Color: deep ruby red.

Bouquet: fresh, with red fruit and vanilla shades.

Taste: good structure, slightly tannic, persistent.

Food pairings: pasta with meat ragout, roasted white and red meats, mushrooms, cold meats and cheeses.
