The Weingut Zähringer winery was founded in 1844 and is now managed by Fabian Zähringer, the 6th generation. In pursuing the best wine quality and preserving nature and cultural landscapes, we have been working according to ecological principles since 1987 and biodynamic principles since 2005. Located in the Markgräflerland, at the foot of the Black Forest between Freiburg and Basel, our vines grow on fertile, deep loess and clay soil in one of the warmest regions in Germany.
