Thomas Henry Chardonnay ~ 2024

Our philosophy is simple—wine should bring joy, bring people together, and elevate the everyday moments of life. This belief is deeply personal for founder Tom Meadowcroft Jr. It all starts with the journey of his father, Thomas Henry Meadowcroft, whose adventurous spirit laid the foundation for everything we do at Thomas Henry Wines today..
Appellation: Sonoma County, California
Grapes:
100% Chardonnay – ABV 13.5%
Tasting notes: Opens with inviting aromas of golden apple, pear, citrus blossom, and a hint of orange zest. On the palate, bright flavors of crisp apple and nectarine are layered with subtle notes of butterscotch and lemon. A smooth, creamy mouthfeel is balanced by crisp acidity, leading to a refreshing, clean finish that keeps you coming back for more.
Pairing: Pairs beautifully with dishes that highlight its bright fruit and creamy texture—think herb-roasted chicken, grilled shrimp with citrus glaze, or buttery lobster rolls. It also complements seared scallops, a pear and goat cheese salad, or butternut squash risotto.

Meadowcroft Chardonnay ~ 2022

The namesake of Winegrower Tom Meadowcroft. The meaning of Meadowcroft is a fertile field or meadow, and croft refers to a cultivated area that has been nurtured over time. The honeybee on the label symbolizes this conscientious work and the process of transformation from wine grapes into outstanding wine. Meadowcroft Wines are sustainably sourced, award-winning wines that are vineyard-specific and limited in production, expressing both European wine heritage and California creativity.
The appellation is known for its cool climate and high rainfall relative to other parts of Sonoma County. Close to the Pacific, with more than twice the annual rainfall of its inland neighbors, it’s warm enough to ripen wine grapes because most vineyards are above the fog line.
Appellation: Sonoma Coast AVA, CA
Grapes:
100% Chardonnay
Tasting notes: Showcases vibrant notes of tropical fruit and green apple on the nose. The palate is medium, with fresh flavors of lychee, grapefruit, ripe cantaloupe, and vanilla bean. The finish lingers delightfully with notes of apple strudel and suggestions of baking spice.
Pairing:
Dishes like ceviche, Ahi tuna tartare, buttered crab, and crusty sourdough bread. Serve chilled with salads and young cheeses, or at room temperature with richer dishes and aged cheeses. A versatile and complex wine is a great cellar staple.

Meadowcroft Cabernet Sauvignon ~ 2022 [92 pts – Wine Enthusiast]

Tom Meadowcroft says that the key to a quality Cabernet Sauvignon begins in the vineyard with careful and patient farming. He calls this type of viticulture “four wheel drive farming” as opposed to a more lax “two wheel drive” approaches. The 2022 vintage saw longer fruit hang times/extra maturity and fruit development. The meticulous attention and experience is evident in this exemplary bottle of wine.
Appellation: Napa Valley, CA
Grapes:
100% Cabernet Sauvignon – ABV 14.5%
Tasting notes: A rich and compelling nose of blackberry, black cherry, vanilla, and subtle notes of pine. This wine is structured firmly around deep flavors of brambly black fruits, blueberry, and minerality. Supple, ripe tannins provide ample backbone. The finish is lengthy and layered. Decant to reveal the wine’s full complexity.
Pairing: Recommend hearty dishes like grilled steaks, mushroom dishes, or lamb with herbs. This wine will nicely hold up to strong cheeses such as aged gorgonzola, aged sharp cheddar or Parmigiano Reggiano.
