Special ~ Wine Tasting & Meet the Winemaker

Let’s welcome Neil Bruwer and Chamonix Estate wines to Concord!

Chamonix Estate

The Chamonix winery is located in Franschhoek and has some of the highest vineyard locations in the Cape. The location benefits from outstanding clay soils and cool winds during hot summer months. The wines from Chamonix excite with a distinctive profile that is achieved by as little intervention in the cellar as possible and very sustainable cultivation methods.

Neil Bruwer is an award-winning winemaker who has worked at some of the Cape’s leading wine estates and gained valuable experience in Oregon and Australia. “I am but a carer of that which the vineyard delivers. Making wine, for me, must be done with minimal intervention to allow the site and the fruit to say what they want to say. That’s the only way the wine can do its work the way it wants to.”
