Ondarre Cava Brut Nature DOC ~ NV

The Grupo Bodegas Olarra started in 1973 with the construction of a wine cellar for making great Rioja wines. In 1985, Bodegas Ondarre appeared to extract the maximum local character from the vineyards and the diversity of soil types in Viana. This is where wines for long cellaring and the first sparkling cavas from the group were made. The tradition of making sparkling cava within the Rioja Designation of Origin dates to the start of the 20th century. Virtually since their foundation, Bodegas Ondarre began making cavas from the viura variety, the most representative white wine grape of this zone.
