Vinos PedraVolta is a project formed by siblings Andrés and Maria Mendoza. All our products are managed according to the parameters established by the regulations for Organic Agriculture. Without the use of herbicides or insecticides to respect the environment and biodiversity. This wine is from 20-year-old vines located in Nonaspe, on the banks of the Matarraña River.

Pontellón Albariño

The vineyard is in Vilachán (Tomiño-Pontevedra). This is a south-facing slope, between the rivers Bravos and

Pego. Although close to the sea and the Miño River, its location halfway up the slope isn’t negatively affected by the mists nor existing cold on the peaks. The south orientation ensures good heat, which contributes to a perfect ripening

of the grapes. Mild throughout the year, but especially in summer, these mild summer temperatures make the grapes

ripen slowly, preserving all its varietal aromas and an important acidity necessary to produce fresh and

fruity wines. The granitic, sandy and very permeable soil helps to highlight Albariño’s aromas to the fullest.
Appellation: Rias Baixas ‘O Rosal’, Spain

Grapes: Albariño 100% – ABV 13%
Tasting notes: Brilliant, clean, lime-yellow. The nose is clean and strong with fruity and citric accents, with a structured, full-bodied and long-lasting. Citric and fruity highlights come through when the wine is swallowed.
Producer: Adegas Tollodouro

Ugalde Crianza ~ 2021

Bodegas Felipe Ugalde was started in 1882, a family estate owned and managed by D. Felipe Ugalde. The foundation for everything we embark upon is set by different Terroirs. They allow us to explore, study, research, and tirelessly seek new wines with which to stimulate your curiosity.  Having terroirs with very different characteristics enables us to make a wide variety of wines. The Crianza comes from vineyards over 10 years old. The planting of our vineyards was made following quality criteria, seeking low yields and small-berry bunches.
